Nifty leaders & laggards: Unitech, R Com, Tata Steel

The broad-based NSE Nifty gained 61.55 points, or 1.47% to close at 4,252.65 today (June 25) after hitting a high of 4,264.55 and a low of 4,093.20.
Unitech, a major real estate player, gained 7.96% to settle at Rs 184.40.
Reliance Communications (R Com) was up 6.18% to close at Rs 503.40.
Tata Steel, the flagship company of Tata Group, gained 4.20% to settle at Rs 741.
The Reserve Bank of India has taken a step ahead on its promised action plan for taming the rapidly accelerating inflation figures that mounted to a peak of 11.05% last Friday, by hiking the Repo rate and CRR by 50 basis points each.
HDFC on the other hand declined 4.30%, to close at Rs 2,167. Wipro dropped 3.65% to settle at Rs 453 and power generation house Power Grid, declined 2.88% to close at Rs 79.20
